Officejet Pro 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Selected "Scan," "Scan to Computer," destination computer and "Scan Shortcut" Save as PDF. Document scans and printer says it has been sent to the computer and that I should check the computer to find it. Find it where? The computer is a big place and it is not in the My Scans folder where the old printer sent stuff. I did this twice. Who can tell me where the scans landed?

Hello,

>Search Windows for your printer model, then click the printer name in the list of results OR double click on the printer icon located in Desktop .

>HP Printer Assistant opens.
>Click Scan a Document. HP Scan opens.
>Click one of the shortcuts that matches the file type and resulting action you want.

>Click Advanced Settings or More to change settings such as quality, color, and default scan destination folder.

Note: The default destination folder is the location where the scanned documents are stored.

Jabzi,

Thank you for the reply - and the solution to my issue. Your advice allowed me to probe deeper into Printer Assistant options that were not evident to one unfamiliar with the HP software.
