Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 6978

When scanning from document feeder I get a thin vertical line about 1" from the edge. I don't get the line when scanning from the glass.

HP Recommended

Open the cover to have access to scan bed and then clean the smaller glass on the left side. The picture is for reference only.
