HP Smart, Scan and Capture, HP Scan

Good morning,

I recently updated a user to Office 365 apps for Enterprise and Windows 10 1909.  Once this happened, their ability to scan to Outlook within the HP scan app stopped working.  No biggie, I thought, so I went to download the HP app from the store.  First off, as an enterprise admin, it would be really nice to be able to get .msi or .exe's for users.  We block the store, so it becomes extremely complicated to install store only apps in an enterprise environment.  No worries, I was able to get the HP app.  When I finished installing, I tried scanning to email, and only the built-in mail app is available.  I don't know why on Earth you wouldn't have Office 365 as an option here.  The only option is "select an app from the store," but guess what - we don't install Office 365 from the store.  It's a custom package that comes down through SCCM.  So then, I installed the HP Scan and Capture (butterfly) app, and same issue.  How is it that you have 3 different scanning apps, but none seem to be able to scan an attachment directly to Outlook?

So there are a couple of questions and concerns here.  The first one is: Why on earth are there 3 or 4 different scanning apps?  The second is: out of the convoluted collection of scan apps, which one is actually supposed to be used in the enterprise?  The third is: why on earth isn't Outlook 365 an option to scan to?  What is the proper solution for all of this in an enterprise environment?
