Moved to Windows 11 PC. Scanjet Pro 2500 had worked normally on Windows 10 but cannot be seen by the Windows 11 machine. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but does not work. Is there a solution or is the 2500 incompatible with Windows 11.

Try first this:
- shut down scanner via on/off switch
- shut down the computer
- wait about 60 sec.
- Switch on the scanner, wait until the scanner has finished its initialization
- switch on computer, log in (with admin rights) and wait about 10 sec.
... and now everything's working again?
If that doesn't help, here's what you need to do:
- disconnect the USB cable
- Uninstall HP scanner software
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP Scanjet Full Feature Software and Driver
File size: 585.4 MB
"Expand all" and read all the information! - Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the File name: FullWebpack_sj2500f1-39.5.156-sj2500f1_Full_Webpack.exe
Reminder: do not connect the USB cable until the installation prompts you to do so. - The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the PC again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
