Windows Fax and Scan does not offer A4 paper size when scanning

I've just set up a new computer with Windows 10 (disclaimer: I'm a Mac user at home and Windows in the office).

Trying to Scan from my HP LaserJet printer - I can print fine but when trying to scan, the Paper size drop down menu doesn't offer the option of A4. Why is this so? Do I need to install another driver?

Did you install the full featured drivers for Win10?

Since you are using Windows 10, I suggest you to use the HP Scan and Capture app to scan and this should help.

I have the same problem (I don't know if I have to start a new topic or not ?). I'm having a HP LaserJet 500 colorMFP M570dw model, and when I select with the Win 7 "Windows Fax & Scan" program this printer / scanner, there's a load of sizes you can choose from but no A4, although the printer uses A4 paper and prints A4 paper-size. Here below is the list of the sizes, obviously if you choose "flatbad" instead of paperfeed the full size of the flatbad is the same as a A4 paper size. 

Is there a solution for this ? I don't want to install the HP scan & capture program.
