Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Can you download and install the HP FULL featured software?
After installation, set the Scan to Computer.
This resource will show you how.
Hope that helps!

Thanks, that worked very well but, I traditionally use Adobe to manage my scanning and although it recognises the wireless printer/scanner it will only scan from the glass and will not scan from the document feeder now.

Hi,
Glad to hear that your issue is resolved and all is working well now.
For the ADF, is there a "Source" on Adobe that you can select the ADF (instead of scan glass)?
Have a nice day!

HI @DanPB
Thanks for checking. So it seems it's an Adobe software limitation.
Cheers.

HP Envy 5530 printer and HP Pavilion Desk top. Working well for years. All of a sudden scanned material from printer won't communicate with desktop. No problem with wireless printing from desktop to printer but the reverse scan from printer to desktop won't communicate. I checked IP address and even re-downloaded the printer driver. Printer printout shows everything to be in order. Problem persists.
