Product: HP DeskJet 3720 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 26.0 Tahoe

Have two Mac computers connect to my HP LaserJet 3700 printer. One computer can attempt to scan a document but with the page inserted correctly, the scanner turns on, the page is drawn in but the scanner indicates it is "warming up" after completing this function it claims "no page inserted". No matter how many attempts are tried, the same result occurs.

The other Mac computer  Mac mini macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 see the printer purely as a printer and not a scanner. So both my campers have no access to the scanner.  They did two months ago, when they both had access to the scanner - what's gone wrong?
