Product: OfficeJet 6950
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I've just installed a new OfficeJet 6950. The specifications say that the scanner has resolutions up to 1200 dpi, but the HP software (both HP Twain and HP Scan from HP Printer Assistant)  only shows resolutions up to 300 dpi. How can I scan at higher resolutions? Do you think there is anything wrong with the software or the scanner?

Hi,

the top feeder supports up to 300dpi while the Flatbed Glass support higher resolutions up to 1200dpi.

 

from the HP Scan software change the Source to Flatbed Glass and then higher resolutions will become available.
