I have followed all the steps in HP and it states printer is ready to scan, however, the printer will not scan and repeat the steps on the window.

I found a solution to my scanning problem by clicking on HP on my PC and was able to scan document. My printer still has the steps to scan but HP said it was all set. I had tried HP Smart and all the steps they suggested I try but nothing worked until I found and HP that I had not seen before. Although I did not use your solution, I do appreciate that you took the time to respond.
