I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Product. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To copy a legal-size document using your HP DeskJet 4155e All-In-One Printer on Windows 10, follow these steps:

Prepare the Document:

  • Place the legal-size document (8.5 x 14 inches) on the scanner glass of your HP DeskJet 4155e. Align it according to the size markers on the scanner bed to ensure it’s positioned correctly.

Open HP Smart App:

  • Launch the HP Smart app on your Windows 10 computer. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Microsoft Store.

Select the Scanner:

  • In the HP Smart app, click on the "Scan" tile. The app should automatically detect your HP DeskJet 4155e. If not, ensure the printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your computer.

Configure Scan Settings:

  • Set the scan type to "Document" or "Custom" if you have an option to specify the document size. Ensure you select or specify "Legal" size if available.

Scan the Document:

  • Click on "Scan" to start scanning. The app will capture the document and display a preview.

Save or Print the Document:

  • Once the scan is complete, you can save the scanned document to your desired location on your computer. If you need to make a copy, you can usually print directly from the HP Smart app by selecting the "Print" option.

If the HP Smart app isn’t working or you prefer another method:

Use the Printer Control Panel:

  • Some HP printers allow you to initiate scans directly from the printer’s control panel. Check if there’s a "Copy" or "Scan" button on the printer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Use Windows Scan:

  • Open the "Windows Scan" app from the Start menu, select your HP DeskJet 4155e, and configure the scan settings to legal size.
