Hi @PuluthiAndavar, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing a common issue known as "ghost printing" when using the scanner glass on your HP LaserJet MFP438nda. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this problem:

Clean the Scanner Glass: Dust or smudges on the scanner glass can cause ghost images. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner to clean the scanner glass thoroughly.

Check the Scanner Settings: Ensure that the scanner settings are correctly configured. Sometimes, incorrect settings can lead to poor copy quality.

Calibrate the Scanner: Your printer might need calibration. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to calibrate the scanner.

Inspect the Fuser: Ghost printing can also be caused by issues with the fuser. If the fuser is damaged or dirty, it might need to be cleaned or replaced.

Update Firmware and Drivers: Make sure your printer's firmware and drivers are up to date.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
