date of manufacture scanjet 5590 scanner

Hello I need the date of manufacture (year and month) for my scanner, scanjet 5590.  serial number CN4BPXH01X

the warranty started on march 2015.

Someone is telling me it is from the year 2004 and is too antiquated. 

Also because it is too old it is not compatible with windows 10,(even though there are windows 10 drivers available.)

There are reviews for the 5590 scanner from the year 2004, so I'm confused?

(I needed this person to scan some Transparencies with this scanner.)

Its first release date wwas around 2004, a review took place on July 15, 2004 2:28PM EST:

But vendors (all of them) can produce same products many years later. They don't spend years of research and development then produce one machine.
