I just purchased a brand new HP 3755 to replace my aged HP 3752.  Reason was because i like the small form factor/ footprint it has. I went to use the scan option both in HP smart app as well as just manual and the document wont feed through.  I hear whirring as if the feeder is running but is not engaging the paper.  I tried to feed from the back and to no avail.  I have used my old 3752 for scanning and am very familiar with the process and so going to your support page on how to use the scanner is a waste of time.  I know what i am doing.  Please help. If this is a mechanical issue, I will need to return the item and exchange for another one.  Thank you

like i said in previous post followed all suggested solutions.  Simply put, I just returned the item in lieu of another printer

Update Firmware/Software: Check for any available firmware or software updates for your HP 3755. Sometimes, updating the device's software can resolve compatibility issues. Click Here

 

Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear temporary glitches.

 

Test with Different Documents: Try scanning different types and sizes of documents to see if the issue persists. This can help identify whether the problem is specific to certain documents.
