double sided scan on 8610

I purchased my 8610 about three (3) years ago, because it came with the functionality of double sided scanning/printing. Some how in the last 6 months, this function didn't function anymore. What happened? Did HP take this function away from my All-In-One?

Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:

1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Hi,

The Officejet Pro 8610 provide duplex print only,  duplex scanning and copying are only offered by the 8620 / 8630 models for the series, a such were never supported by the 8610 printer:

Breeze through multipage documents with automatic two-sided scanning and 50-page auto document feeder (for 8620/8630 only)
