Hi @RayMoor,
I'd like to help!
I understand you trying to fax documents from mac computer.
Follow the below instructions to set up Fax
Set up HP Digital Fax
Run the guided HP Digital Fax setup tool in the HP software.
NOTE: Available options during setup vary by printer model and how it connects to the computer. USB-connected printers can save faxes to a local folder only. Network-connected printers support saving to a folder on the network and fax to email.
-
Open your HP printer software.
-
Mac: Open Finder
, click Go > Applications, double-click the Hewlett-Packard or HP folder, and then double-click HP Utility.
-
-
Run the Digital Fax Setup software.
-
Mac: In HP Utility, under Fax Settings, click Digital Fax Archive.
-
-
Follow the instructions to complete setup.
To find out if your printer supports additional Digital Fax options, check the Fax or Setup menus on the printer control panel.
Refer to -Use HP Digital Fax to receive faxes to a computer or email
