I just set up a new OfficeJet Pro 8035e. I cannot seem to be able to fax. The fax test passes. I tried to fax HP's test fax service (1-888-473-2963), but I get error 344. I tried turning off error correction mode and changing the speed to slow. Still fails. Tried it on a VoIP and FIOS line. Still fails. I can only assume all is fine on the receiving side; I don't have another fax number to try. I cannot find a way to email support and have gone in circles with the virtual chat. Has anyone had success faxing off this printer? Is the fax service still available? Thanks!

Thanks for the info. Most of it I had already come across in my google search. Although not 100% reliable, my setup worked fine with my old OfficeJet. The only new variable is the new printer. I have an ATA and the cables are the exact ones I've been using. But assuming the ATA is faulty or the google voice number is the issue, I switched to the Fios landline. The phone company's website says you should be able to fax over Fios Digital Voice. One of the methods should have worked... it may have take a couple attempts, but they always did before.
I realize HP is trying to push HP Mobile Fax... but it said it won't be free forever. I'm not looking to having a cost for the twice-a-year faxes I need to send.
Maybe someone else can answer... has anyone been successful at sending faxes off this particular printer? I'm trying to determine if this printer has a design flaw or is faulty.
