fax stopped work. it still copy and prints but not fax

@juanita5, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Are you using a dedicated fax line or a shared line?

Check the fax connections. Make sure you are using a 2 Wire phone cable.

Check for the dial tone.

 

Run a fax test

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Fax setup > Tool > Run fax test

 

You may also try testing the fax by sending a test fax to HP on 1-888-473-2963 and check the results.
