Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an Envy 4520 printer, I'm trying to sink the printer to my laptop, I get to the point where it's asking for a code however it's only giving me the printers email address and not a code!!! help please! I have a document that I need scanned but is unable to do so due to that one step
