how do I scan documents as one document and not individual pages.

When I scan a document, I end up with separate pages and not a set of documents. how do I fix

just had that problem a moment ago. if I used the feeder it scanned individually, but when I used the glass the screen asked if I wanted to add more documents and I replied yes and it put them all  together instead of individual pages.  I'm sure there is a way to do it thru the feeder but I haven't figured that out yet good luck.
