How do I scan and copy legal-sized papers on my device? I've tried every configuration I can think of...

Hello,
Hope you are fine, you can go to the copy menu, then select the setting gear icon on the bottom left and select Original size to change it to legal and tray selection depending where the paper is loaded , then scroll down and save the changes and run the copy.
Thanks,

One thing we have found with this series, if you do not have paper you are going to copy onto loaded and the tray size set for legal you likely will not see the legal option in the copy menus.
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.

THANK YOU! This is the only thing that has helped.
However, it's a ridiculous series of steps to have to go through to get a legal-sized copy. We're a public library, and all of our computers default to printing from Tray 1, which is the only one that will take the larger paper. So we have to leave it set for regular paper 99% of the time. Which makes it a real hassle to set up a legal copy the 2-3 times a year we get a request...
Still regretting this purchase.
