Sure, I can help with that! Here are the steps to scan using your HP Envy 5000:

Using the HP Smart App

  1. Place your document: Put the document face down on the scanner glass.
  2. Open the HP Smart app: Download and open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  3. Select 'Scan': Choose the 'Scan' option in the app.
  4. Adjust settings: Set your preferences for color, resolution, and file format.
  5. Preview and scan: Preview the scan and make any necessary adjustments, then click 'Scan' to save the file.

Using the Printer Control Panel

  1. Place your document: Place the document on the scanner glass or in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
  2. Select 'Scan': Press the 'Scan' button on the printer's control panel.
  3. Choose scan settings: Use the navigation buttons to select your desired settings (color, resolution, etc.).
  4. Start the scan: Press 'Start' or 'OK' to begin scanning.
