Has the error code 0xb04021a6 on the printer display screen the moment you turn it on.

Have search all day but unable to find out what this error code means.

I understand that you have an HP Deskjet 3050A e-All-in-One Printer that is showing an "0xb04021a6" error code when it gets powered on. I would like to help.

 

These error codes are caused by hardware or firmware issues.

 

Here is the suppiort document intended for use with this issue - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Displays.

Thanks for the advice rb011. I did what you said about the link. 

Did what it said but the moment the power lead went into the back it started up with the same error message.

Thanks for getting back to me. This issue would require servicing to resolve.

 

If your printer is in warranty I would contact HP Tech Support to have the printer serviced.

 

If the printer is no longer in warranty HP Tech Support may be able to save you a little money if you are needing to replace the printer.

 

What you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:


Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/


Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect


Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"


Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number


Case number and phone number appear.

 

Please click the "Accept as Solution", and the "thumbs up" buttons up on my initial reply above so others with similar issues can find the solution easier.
