I'm scanning on my new hp officejet 7612. How do I print multiple pages in one pdf file? The little box (which says "create a separate file for each scanned page") won't uncheck. The help area says c00018775 could help me but I can't click on it or the icons to get an explanation.

Hi scanner,
I'd like to share below steps of how to scan mutiple pages using an ADF in one PDF file with you, please try the followign and let me know if that helps:
- Clcik the HP Officejet 7612 icon.
- Under Scanner Actions, click Scan a Document or Photo.
- Select Save as PDF.
- At the right pane, make sure that Show Scan Preview is checked.
- Verify the Resolution is 300DPI or below, any higher resolution do not support a multiple pages socument.
- Click Advance and go to the File tab. verify the Creat a Seperate file is Not Checked.
- Click OK to confirm.. the modified settings will now take a place for any future scan,
- Click Scan and use the Plus button to Add additional pages.
Thanks and Best regards,

Hello,
So in the GUI, the icon to actually save the PDF (Which is in the upper right-hand corner of the scanned preview, which a user may have to arrow over to within the small preview window,) seemed as though it is saving to the desktop, then the file vanishes. Google Chrome says trhat it fails. The Message os "Failed - No File." The reason is not yet known. I may have to find an answer. However, my more expediant work-around was to click on print, and have it print as a PDF, that I can then save wherever I want. This appears to work fine.

Diiging for a solution I found this old topic....
In all attempts to fix this issue, I could not find a permanent solution to my situation. I use to scan to email most of the time, and I could not find a way to configure the printer to scan multiple pages in a single PDF file when scanning from glass.
Is there any way to do that? Scanning to email does not use the computer software, and on the printer LCD display there is no option to select/unselect regarding the amount of PDF files to be used.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
