Hello,

i currently own a HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw printer which obviously is not able to scan to a network storage.

 

is there any way to find out, which printers are able to do that? i would like to see if there is a (quite similar) affordable modell to do that.

Hi,

You may check the HP LaserJet Pro M227fdw which supports scanning to a network folder and quite similar to your printer with its capabilities of monochrome printing, fax, etc so this would be the most logical alternative:

For HP LaserJet printers, the next option would be a color laser printer (Color LaserJet Pro M283) or an inkjet printer (OfficeJet Pro 9010/9020), these are the most lower-end printers to offer direct digital filing to a network folder.
