Product: hp office jet v5255
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

i Had to replace a laptop that used windows 10 and was connected to a hp officejet 5255 printer visa usb.    with this setup, hp smart allowed me to 2 side scan and collate.  now with a new hp laptop and windows  11, i no longer find those options on hp smart.  i uninstalled hp smart and reinstalled...no improvement.   windows 11 says the 5255 is compatable.   what am i missing?

Hi,

Such functionality is offered by the HP Scan software and not by HP Smart.

 

Please download and install its latest Full Feature Software below, then open HP Scan and you should be able to select to manually scan both sides:

this takes you directly back to hp smart which did not offer 2 sided option.

hi...thanks for the reply.  but when i downloaded and installed this link...it took me to hp smart  there was no mention nor could i find hp scan, which is what i used with my previous laptop and windows 10.  how do i get hp scan??
