Operating System: Chrome OS

Is there supposed to be glass under top door that opens so you can place something to scan or copy or is there another place to put things to scan and copy? There is no glass under that area when open door on top.  For hp officejet pro 8210 printer.

@PatMI No, I'm afraid Hp Officejet Pro 8210  is just a printer and does not have copy features.

So, there is no glass attachment to it as such.
