Welcome to the HP Community --

I do not see that you included your printer model.

If you did so, the post failed to add the information.

==========================

1) Copy

You can copy and resize the content you are copying if you have a printer model that supports the Copy > Resize feature.

In general, if your printer includes a full service touchscreen Printer Control Panel as opposed to a small "strip type" control panel, then the printer might include the Copy > Resize option.

How to Copy

 Make copies with an HP printer

Open Section Change paper size and type settings

Steps 1 and 2

If your printer lacks (does not have) the Copy > Resize feature,

Consider

  • Scan the content at it's original size
  • Save the content to your device (computer, tablet, phone).
  • Open and Print the file using an application or software that understands the concept of Scale -- For example, print at "Custom Size" and some percentage of 100%

2) Print and Scan

In general, the printer is not aware of what it is printing -- or scanning.

The amount of job control you have, including the options and features, depend on the application or software you are using to complete the task.

True -- HP Smart (Windows and HP App (Mobile) lack an understanding of "Scale".
