Welcome to the HP User Community.

What you purchase depends on what you mean - "Resize a Copy" is different from "Resize a Scan" and is different from "Resize a Print".

We can certainly guide you to find the information you need to make a decision that works for your needs, your budget, and your situation.

What to do?

=============================================================================

Method One

Contact the Store Custom Service and ask for help

HP Store – USA

 Store/HP.com USA Sales

 Not your HP store?  Scroll to the bottom of the store website and click the Flag to change regions.

 For example:  Self-Help Service, Account, Security and Privacy, Tracking, Change Order, Returns and Cancellations, FAQ, Shopping, Shipping and delivery, Rebates / Coupons, Product Support, Parts and services

OR

Under “I’m looking to buy…” > Select Home Products

Under  “I would like to…” > Select Contact a product specialist before I buy

=============================================================================

Method Two

Open the Store website, look at the options, read the specifications, make a list, decide on a budget, find a printer...

Open the HP Store for your region

Select Printers

Which models?  Start at the top-of-line models - these are the most expensive and include all the features.

Check the Specifications for one of these nice "Office Pro" models and make note of your "must have" features.

Why start at the top?

To accurately measure the value of what you are purchasing, you need to know what is available.

One of the "checkpoints" should be the Copier Specifications / Copy Specifications

Another important checkpoint is how the printer handles "Scan" operations.  More than one customer has purchased a printer and discovered "after the fact" that the printer does not automatically scan in duplex.  If this is important to you, expect to pay more for the option and READ the specifications before purchasing.  The sample model includes this feature.

The most stable network environment is generally one that includes the printing connecting to the network with Ethernet.  Wireless is great as long as your router is up-to-task.  Personal decision.

Example - HP Store in the UK - sample model HP OfficeJet Pro 9022

  • Open the model description page in the store
  • Scroll down to Specifications and click on "See Complete Specs"
  • Peruse the list - make note of your "must have options"
  • Next, check models in your price range and read the specifications.
  • NOTE that Copy Resize generally requires that the printer include a printer control panel so you can enter information at the printer.  Printers with "just buttons" are not the same thing and the options at the printer are limited.
