hp 8600 cycles for a minute or more before feeding paper and then fails to print. Cannot print from ADF or glass. New printhead and new hp cartridges. Have cleaned all rollers. No torn paper found. Plugged in a wall socket. Can print from computer or phone, but still takes a minute or more to copy. Wants to align, but spits out a blank page. Is it junk?

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that your printer prints blank pages while copying, follow these steps to fix the issue.
Check the scanner bar functionality: partially lift the scanner lid, and then press the Copy button or icon. If the scanner light does not illuminate or move across the glass then it should be a scanner issue.
Meanwhile:-
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
