I am trying to fax a pdf file from my PC rather than printing it to paper and then faxing it from my All-in-one Printer. For that purpose there is a LINUX command hp-sendfax, which is invoked iin a terminal window.
When I invoke hp-sendfax, a series of small windows appears asking for the files to be faxed, for the fax recipient. Finally I press the <send fax> button.
This results in an error that I do not understand:
error: Unable to acquire fax token (3).
error: Fax send error.
error: Error, aborting.
I do understand the last two messages 🙂
Would be great if someone could explain what a fax token is and what the sendfax function actually needs to acquire from where. Should I configure or reinstall something?
