The yellow ! is blinking below the wifi button. I cannot print, but I can use the scanner function. It says to check my account but there is no problem within my account. I changed the toner, it did not solve the problem. I tried to reset the device, did not solve the problem. It seems to be offline, dropped off the wifi, but actually there is a connection because scanner function works. It stopped during priting, it printed 4 pages and stopped and since then I cannot restart... Tried all the things written in the support suggestions.. Nothing  worked.

Restore the printer to factory defaults, connect it to a wireless network with access to the internet, and then register again to HP+ service with your username and password using HP Smart app.

Could you please define where and how to restore to factory defaults? I did a restore already but maybe we are talking about different things. Thanks!

Log in to printers EWS, on the left side you will have System then go to Service and on the bottom will be Restore.

 

If asked for credentials as a password use the PIN that is on a label inside the toner access door.

Thank you, the restore worked well. But I cannot register the printer to my account. At the end of the setup it gives an error message and says that it is not possible to register the printer to my HP account. 

Probably I would need to remove the previously added printer (the same one of course) before adding it again. But if I want to remove it, then the system says that I have to cancel the Instant Ink subscription and in that case the toner within the printer will not be usable anymore... so I am stuck again within HP's system bug.

I did the reset again and now it worked, all fine now. Took me some hours over few days... Wasn't the nicest experience. 

Thank you very very much for your help. By the way, I asked for a recall at HP support center and they never phoned me and never gave any support. So my last hope was this HP Expert Center and I am very glad you did help me effectively. Thanks again!
