A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

I believe we can enable Scan to computer using HP Utility. Here is how to do it:

1.) On your Mac, click Finder, click Applications, click the Hewlett-Packard or HP folder, then double-click HP Utility. (If HP Utility is not available, download and install HP Utility from here

2.) Under Scan Settings, click Scan to Computer, then make sure that Enable Scan to Computer check box is selected.

3.) Try to scan.

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you so much! It worked!

For anyone else having this problem: I had tried to do this this way and had assumed that it was a driver problem (that I didn't have the right or updated one installed). However I realized after reading Senan6806's response that I was accessing HP Utility from my Mac's launchpad, but for some reason it wasn't installed in the Applications folder with other HP software. So I redownloaded HP Utility to the "right" place and everything went as described.

Thanks again!
