No matter what I cannot get my computer to recoginize my scanner on my printer.  I go thru this approx.  1/mo.  I've done everything this time, uninstall/reinstall printer--and download drivers from site/run them.  Ran print/scan dr. , it gives me an error b/c I'm not using HP ink.  I continue on and it states:  "all is good, print test scan".   Test scan seems to work, at least it puts the scan on their open site, but immediately after when trying to use the scan on my printer, it once again "make sure that the scanning software has been installed".   Notice that my sign in name is :   pissedAF,   that's b/c I'm sick and tired of this BS with this printer.  Why in TF should anyone EVER have to go thru this BS just to use a product that they paid for once, and own??????????????????????????????????///

I see that you are facing scanning issues with HP Printer.

 

I suggest you reinstall the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.

 

You can follow the steps under this link to uninstall.

 

Furthermore, you can reinstall using HP Smart App from this link.
