HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Printer

hi guys,

ive been using my printer, relatively problem free for several years. recently (last month or so) it has stopped being able to scan properly. when i say properly, ive always used the printer wirelessly on the same network as my laptop.

i can still print documents wirelessly from macbook but now when i try to scan it says no computer connected on the printer.

i can use the smart scan function on the laptop to scan but thats not how ive always done it before and doesn't give the same results.

i can hard wire the printer via usb to scan, but not ideal to have to keep running the lead across just to scan.

so far i have ran the virtual assistant package- no good

uninstalled then reinstalled software and drivers all up to date- no good.

i havent changed any of my normal procedures so cant figure out why one function would stop all of a sudden.

hoping to get help here rather than having to call HP.

running macbook pro ventura 13.4.1

office jet pro 6960

thanks
