I have MacOS 13 installed with HP Smart, which is the only option for this product.  Then I wanted to push "scan to computer" on my scanner/printer, but it shows no computer was found.  I can print and scan if I operate from my computer, and both my Mac and printer are on the same WIFI.  All the other functions are fine, just there was no way to set up the "scan to computer." until I opened the legacy HP Utility and enabled Scan to Computer.  This is not included in the HP Smart Web App

 

Why can't you find the "Enable Scan to Computer" feature on the HP Smart app?   

 

Long story short: I want to be able to scan to my computer without touching my Mac and using the app and pulling it in a scan app.HP UtilityHP UtilityEnable Scan to ComputerEnable Scan to Computer

Any ideas on how to make this possible again? I really appreciate any help you can provide. 

I saved the old Utility for future use.  HP Will not allow me to download it again. Why HP?

The issue can be solved by reinstalling the software.

During installation, you can choose minimal installation (which is already selected) or HP-recommended installation.

 

The full-feature software and drivers for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8725. I have included a link to HP's Drivers & Downloads web page.  You start by entering your HP product name or number and follow the prompts to get the full feature driver for your computer's operating system. Click here
