We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I setup the "scan to network" like shown in HP-Videos via HP embedded Web server, but it doesnt work.

If i choose the setup on the touchscreen the green "send" button is not activated, but i cant find any error message or log to view after possible errors. 

The network drive which i want to send the documents from the scan to, is easy accessable via windows explorer and i can add files there manually.

There is no auth necessary to access the folder, but i tried even with the admin user it doenst work.

What is wrong?

Not sure --

You could try restarting the printer and perhaps the computer.

Should not be an issue, though, so try or not.

 

On the printer side, the SMB should already be set correctly.

Example

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Network > Network Security > Tab SMB > Select SMB 2 and 3

The "Quick Sets" method is similar in many ways to the old "Profile" setup.

 

Quick Sets are created in EWS (Embedded Web Server).
