I used to be able to scan direct from the glass top to the printer. Now I cannot because I am fixed to the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). How can I copy again direct from the glass to the printer without going through E-mail, Computer, Memory Card or USB Drive? Can the ADF v be turned on and off?

You're right. Thanks. I don't understand why I kept getting stuck in the ADF when there was nothing in the tray. But Copy seems to work now.

Hi,

How you can scan from glass top (of the printer) to printer is a mystery. Are you talking about Copy function ?

For Scan function, it needs the destination (where do you scan to) otherwise the scanned files will go to nowhere.

Regards.

You are quite right. What I want to do is to copy.

Hi @Mullie80

Thanks for using the HP Forum.

Apologies for jumpimg in here.

You can actually do a Copy from the Scan glass :

1. Remove any documents from the ADF

2. Place document on the scan glass.

3. Press  the Copy on your front panel to start the copy job.

Hope that helps!
