We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP OfficeJet 5741 e-All-in-One Printer

My scan function, which has always worked with no problem, has started asking me to sign in in order to scan. The new screen says "create an account" but also gives a "sign in" option. When I try to sign in, nothing happens - screen shakes. If I hit the button "create account" instead, nothing happens, just stays on that screen. I've tried shutting off and restarting. Any ideas?

Hi @winsrick,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are not able to scan. To assist you better,

  • Which app are you using to scan?
  • Do you get any errors?

Use the HP Smart app to scan from your Win PC.

For more info on scanning, refer to - How to scan with an HP printer

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
