Operating System: Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

I had to change my email password and now when i try to scan to email it says either user name or password are incorrect.  How do I fix that? Can't seem to figure out how to do it?  Thanks so much

@whiteoakltd, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

You will have to update the password on the printer's EWS page.

 

  • Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
  • Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your Mac.
  • If you get any security notification, click on show details/advanced and 'proceed to this website'.
  • Go to Scan > Scan to email and make the changes/update the password
