scanning doesnt work: Username of password is are incorrect

When i try to scan i get this message: Username or password is incorrect.

Where can i find the right username and password?

Or can i rest the username and password?

it's a few years ago 1 installed my printer.

since then i have used the printer to scan to my email without problems, until today.
i don't remember the username and password anymore.

We cannot provide your email username and password.

HP cannot provide your email username and password.

Your email provider might be willing to help you if you can prove who you are.  ?

I suggest that you do start over and set up your scan to email to an email username and password that you do know.

Consider:  Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to configure your Scan-to-Email setup.

Although the setup will most likely look very different from the example below, the configuration may be similar enough that the sample at least makes sense.
