I have solved my printing problem and my hp printer is on my wifi network, no problems. Tried to set up to scan and when I enter the ip address in my chrome browser, I receive this message 

 
Your connection was interrupted

A network change was detected.

ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED
 
Now what???

You can print trought your Wifi network but no scan? 

The first things you need to do is to connect your printer to chromebook following these steps: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04122530

 

Try to check if you can scan trought the UB cable, then try out in WIFI. Also verify that the browser doesnt have any issue, you can follow this: https://windowshelper.co/fix-err_network_changed/.
