Hi - this looks like it might be a new and growing problem. My document feeder scanner on my OfficeJet Pro 9019 has worked perfectly for the 8 months or so I have had the printer, but it has suddenly started giving multiple copies of each sheet when using the document feeder - for example, 44 scans of page 1, before it starts to scan page 2. I have done a factory reset, cleared the set up from my Mac and reinstalled it, and the problem continues. When using the scanner glass (one sheet at a time) it works fine - just one scan of each sheet. Any ideas? Is this a problem with Mac OS (using Big Sur)? I have also got a Dell XPS, and scanning using this works fine. In every case I am using HP Smart App to initiate, edit and save the scans.
Help greatly appreciated!

You are welcome.
Hang in there.
When there is a fix, it will perhaps take the form of a new release of the HP Smart application.

Good News (sort of):
Your Printer is OK.
At this writing, we are not aware of an update / fix for this issue.
The "bug"/ issue / problem, is still around.
HP is aware of the problem - it was reported last week.
For now, you'll need to use alternative methods to scan on the Mac.

Hi
A quick update. The scanning problem was still present this morning, but I have just updated the OS to Big Sur 11.3.1 - I had an alert that an update was waiting - and the scanning problem was resolved. As I say, it might just be coincidence, but if anyone else has the same problem, it could be worth doing this.
Thanks for the help

No "coincidence" , I think. Smiling.
Regardless,
Happy Scanning.
