laserjet M1319f mfp
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In any window to choose scanning resolution, whether the windows device interface or "scan" or anything else the pull-down for resolution is always grayed out. It's a laserjet M1319f mfp. Downloaded latest drivers, software and firmware. Ran HP diagnostics, etc. This is win10 pro up to date. scans just fine through any of the tools. Diagnostics could talk to it through twain and wia. but I need lower resolution than 300 but it won't let me set it any lower.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you try this standalone scan software? (may or may not work)

HP Scan Extended

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Hope that helps!

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Nope. It is the only program so far that has an enabled pull-down for resolution but it only offers the 300 option. Is it possible this scanner was made too dumb to do anything else?
