scanning to pdf file

i want to scan documents to a pdf file NOT jpg file.

how do I change this?

I prefere to use a computer utility instead of scanning directly from the printer. If you have a Windows PC, check if it is possible to use HP Scan Extended utility. Here is a complete guide on how to use the program to do what you are looking for:

If you can not use it the other alternative is the HP Scan & capture APP (but I dispise it), that you can install from the Microsoft Store, after it is instaled click on the three lines icon in the upper left corner and select settings. Click on document scan option and select PDF instead of JPG.
