My HP Envy Photo 7858 message says I need to download full software and drivers to scan a document.

Where do I find that?

I understand that your HP ENVY Photo 7858 displays a message saying that you need the Full Software and Drivers to scan, you'll need to install HP's full-feature software package, which includes HP Scan and the necessary scan drivers.

 

You can download it from the official HP support pages:

Installation steps

  1. Open the HP software download page using one of the links above.
  2. Select your operating system (Windows or macOS)
  3. Download the Full Feature Software and Drivers (not just the basic driver).
  4. Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Restart your computer after the installation completes.
  6. Open HP Scan or HP App and try scanning again. The full software package installs the scanning components required by the printer
