Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Use the resolution and color settings in the HP Scan software to change the quality and appearance of saved scans.

  • Resolution: Resolution, measured in dots per inch (DPI), impacts scan quality. High-resolution scans have more detail. However, higher DPI settings also increase file size, and scans take longer to complete.

Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-6960-all-in-one-printer-series/8289579/documen... and follow what color and scan resolution options should I choose.

Keep me posted, how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Have a great day!

Cheers:)
