Hi @milliek2 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When scanning multiple pages with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer, the output (PDF or other formats) may combine all the scanned pages into one file. To separate these pages into individual files, follow these steps based on your operating system and software:

Windows Using HP Smart App

  1. Open HP Smart:
    • Launch the HP Smart app on your Windows computer.
  2. Scan Documents:
    • Click Scan and select your printer.
    • Choose Document to File (PDF) or another preferred format.
  3. Select "Separate Pages" Option:
    • Before scanning, check for a setting like "Save each page as a separate file" under Advanced Settings or Preferences.
    • If unavailable, proceed to scan all pages into one PDF.
  4. Manually Split Pages:
    • Open the scanned PDF in a PDF editor (e.g., Microsoft Edge, Adobe Acrobat Reader, or another tool).
    • Use the "Extract" or "Save As" options to separate pages into individual files.

Mac Using Preview

  1. Scan Documents:
    • Use HP Easy Scan or Preview to scan multiple pages into a single file.
  2. Open in Preview:
    • Open the scanned file in Preview.
  3. Split Pages:
    • Drag individual pages from the sidebar to your desktop to create separate files.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
