Product: HP 5255
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I set to scan at 600 dpi but when I open the file in Photoshop it is only 72 dpi. Does anyone know why? I'm using Monterey OS by the way (was not listed in the drop-down)

Where do you put the originals ? You have to put on the glass area, face own

hi thanks @banhien, I am asking why my jpg is 72 dpi when I have selected 600 dpi when I go to do the scan (yes original is on glass face down). I do wind up with a jpg, but not at the correct dpi. Do you know why?
