I used to be able to "Scan to email" and now I am not able. I have watched over an hour of help videos and I cannot set it back up. I am using a google email address

This says Google Workspace is for businesses? "These steps are for admins who manage Google Accounts for a company, school, or other group. 

These steps seem much too complicated. Before I just typed in my email address and pushed "Scan" on my printer? I have done that for years and I don't understand why it has changed or why it is so complicated. How do I get more one-on-one help to use this feature on my printer?

That link shows you how to configure any Google email account, you have an authentication error so either you are using the wrong port in the email configuration or your internet provider does not allow you to use the authentication you are using.  remember google does not use port 25 it uses the ports indicated in the link given above.
