Not having an issue, but just a general question. I frequently scan documents using the document feeder and as the page goes thru I hear occasional tones as the documents pass thru the feeder. These tones dont seem to have any particular pattern but I was wondering if it is anything to be concerned about, or if its just a normal function of the pages passing thru en route to being scanned.

Hi @mugzze
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
There is no reason to worry about. When you place papers in the document feeder, the paper sensor will sense the paper and give you a chime.
When the feeder starts pulling in the papers, you can hear the tone as an acknowledgment that the paper is fed.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
